Borderline Bluegrass brings that certain pick-me-up to any bluegrass event and may stand alone as the headliner to any show. I wouldn't think of hosting a bluegrass festival without Borderline being a key part of it. A real crowd pleaser, and easy to work with.

Timing, taste and talent…..three words that do not begin to cover the musicianship and vocal abilities of the wonderful group that goes by the name of Borderline Bluegrass. These folks have not been playing together very long as a group, but they have come together to create their own wonderful style of bluegrass. Solid, professional, and friendly. Great to work with and they love what they are doing. They aim to please and please you they will.
Ty Dawson does most of the lead vocals and plays a solid rhythm guitar. His lovely wife, Julie, plays the doghouse bass and provides excellent harmonies to Ty. Daniel Shilling is the wild man on the banjo or Dobro and his abilities are unreal. Top it all off with Jon Harden’s proficiency on the fiddle and vocals. Borderline Bluegrass puts their all into every song they do and if you can catch one of their shows, you will be greatly rewarded!

After seeing Borderline at the Big Spring Bluegrass Bluegrass & BBQ event in Neosho, it was a no-brainer to book them for the Carl Junction Bluegrass Festival. There, they showed themselves to be a proven commodity, producing a solid act that the crowd greatly appreciated. They have carried themselves as professionals and friends - prompt, easy to communicate with, fun, and dependable! Setups on stage were not demanding and they always seem to be sensitive to whatever they can do to make their act and their interactions with everyone as good as possible. They love what they do and they express gratitude for being able to do it. Don't hesitate to put Borderline Bluegrass on stage at your venue!

What Others Are Saying About Borderline Bluegrass
Borderline Bluegrass was part of an evening program that Har-Ber Village Museum presented as part of the annual Pioneer Days event at the Village. After a pioneer-themed dinner, attendees met in the Village’s Event Tent and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of music these folks played. Music was interspersed with stories and the audience got to know each of the musicians a bit better by the end of the show. Directly following the event, I was approached by several in the audience who made a point of sharing how much they enjoyed the music and program. A truly entertaining evening thanks to Borderline Bluegrass! We’ll be inviting them back for other programs.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you! On behalf of the Precious Moments Supporting Foundation, it is my sincere pleasure to extend our gratitude for the performance of Borderline Bluegrass during our 2016 Precious Moments Family Reunion Event.
From my perspective, one of the fundamentally important characteristics of performers is that they deliver on the entire scope of their commitment. Borderline Bluegrass did so to perfection. An astounding percentage of our attendees rated the entertainment with the highest possible score. Needless to say, the guest lines to meet the group and purchase CD's after the performance were quite long.
I wouldn't hesitate to book Borderline Bluegrass again, or recommend them to others.
